Belvedere Viewpoint

Tânoasa Plateau
Mountain plateau accessible from Moneasa, ideal for family hikes.
Izoi & Pleșu Peaks
Hiking trail through the Codru-Moma mountains to Izoi and Pleșu peaks (1112m). Approx. 27 km, difficult. A shorter 18 km moderate route also exists.
Hiking Circuits
Hiking circuits of 12–22 km with moderate difficulty through the Moneasa area.
Bats' Cave
Cave accessible via a 1.7 km trail from Moneasa. Easy, about 40 minutes.
Bears' Cave
Just a few minutes' walk from the resort centre, one of the most interesting local attractions.
Water Lily Lake
Natural lake with white water lilies, a picturesque spot near the resort.
Via Ferrata Cetatea Dezna
Via ferrata route on the ruins of Dezna Fortress, a few km from Moneasa. Equipment provided on site.
Iron Furnace Ruins
The Moneasa iron foundry — photographed in 1905 — survives today as 10m granite ruins. A reminder of the 18th–19th century iron industry in the Sebiș–Moneasa area.
